Who we are
Hi! We’re Elsa Toli and Niko Papanikolaou, a destination wedding photography and filmmaking duo. From Tuscany and Provence to Santorini and beyond, our work brings together documentary storytelling, an editorial perspective, and the imperfectly perfect poetry of analogue film.
Our Approach
Our work is rooted in connection and observation, capturing the visual beauty of a wedding, but also the atmosphere and spontaneous moments that give the day its character.
Our approach is primarily documentary and photojournalistic, allowing moments to unfold naturally and without unnecessary direction, while at times leaning into a more artistic, editorial and cinematic perspective when the setting, the couple, or the energy of the day calls for it.
We work primarily with digital photography and filmmaking for their flexibility and precision, while weaving 35mm photography and Super 8 film into our work.
There is something inherently different about analog. It slows the process down and asks for a little more intention. The grain, the softness and the small imperfections give each frame a character that cannot quite be recreated digitally.

Moments become tangible memories of light, shadow and time, with a texture and depth that feel both nostalgic and timeless.
Our collections also include selected photographs, hand-printed in the darkroom on premium photographic paper. Created through a traditional photographic process, each print becomes something genuinely physical and personal, shaped by hand rather than simply reproduced on a screen.
Super 8 brings that same quality into motion. Its flicker, movement and unmistakable texture have the feeling of an old home movie - intimate, imperfect and deeply personal.
For us, analog is not about replacing digital or recreating the past. It is another layer of storytelling. Digital gives us clarity, freedom and consistency; analog introduces unpredictability, tactility and emotion. Together, they allow the story to feel both contemporary and timeless.
